Eid Bakesale

Get a box of assorted fresh home-made goods including cookies, knafeh, cupcakes, and more in these Eid Sweets Box. Eid Movie Night

Movie night every Friday at the Ottawa Mosque’s Hall of Peace! 🎥 🎞 🍿 🚗

Come with your family or alone & enjoy the free movie.

We will be selling popcorn, candy, and drinks as a fundraiser to raise money for the Ottawa Mosque youth programs.

This week the event will be on Friday July 31st @ 7:00 pm!

We hope to see you all there!


Eid Coloring Contest

Do any of your children have an artistic talent? 

3 groups of prizes (5-12 years old), (13-17 years old) and (Children on the autism spectrum disorder)

1st, 2nd, 3rd, and runner up prizes in each category!

Up to $250 in prizes!!

Instructions:

  • Print then colour the drawing of the Masjid (drawing below).

  • Any physical colouring material is permitted (pencil crayons, crayons, pastel, watercolour, oil, collage, etc.) No digital colouring please.

  • Requirement for (6-12) kids: draw the most beautiful sky you can imagine!

  • Requirement for (13-17) youth: write Eid Mubarak (Arabic or English) above the dome using the most beautiful calligraphy you can master! 

To parents:

  • Enter with parent/guardian consent.

  • Include: name of the young artist, age, and which neighborhood of Ottawa (open to Ottawa contestants only).

  • Subject should be: Colorful masjid entry. Entries from children with autism please add “ASD” to the subject line. They will be judged and awarded separately.

  • Email a good scan to contest@ottawamosque.ca Deadline is August 1st at 11:59 DST.
